Talked to Dave and it sounds like it’s going to be a good one with men coming from several states with dealers and demos. Looking like smoked chickens and sides Friday and smoked Barbeque Saturday with sides. Try to make plans now to come out and support the dealers and trapping in Kentucky. He can accommodate campers at his place just up the road from the meet.

Probably ought to try to get a room early if you’re planning on staying. There’s some sort of construction project going on in that area and one motel stays pretty busy.

Louis Tandy is doing a lure making demo at the meet. He’s got some good stuff and knows what he’s doing and will have some for sale at the meet. I tested his Gunslinger and ST8 this past season with cat catches and his Super High Five catches everything. He a Kentucky guy from the Frankfort area.

I made my reservations for the Ramada. Looking forward to being there and learning more. Thank you to everyone for putting this together.

There will be activities for the kids. Fishing derby, scavenger hunt, outdoors test.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and learning some new things. I am driving up tomorrow afternoon and taking the wife to the Ark Encounter on Thursday and then will be at both days of the meet.

Looks like perfect weather for a trapping meet.

Headin ‘ out soon. Everyone drive safe.

See ya in the morning
