Caught a rat in a 220. It must have smelt my scent because i had just caught my own hand in it a few days ago. Still sore but have full movement in all fingers. Have 220 mounted on a log.

What are you targeting have it mounted to a log? How did you mount it also. Sorry I’ve never seen that before.
Not targeting rats. Targeting racoon, opossum, skunk, badger, mink, Martin, and what might get caught. I am above ground according to nebraska law.
This is what i screw to log and then set conibear attached to it.
I use footholds in barns and.arpund them and buildings but never catch them as by catch

Looks like crab leg shells are to die for! I’ve never caught a rat in a body grip, but it looks like it works good! Oh, and it took me a couple of times of having a body grip go off on my hand/fingers before I decided to let go of some of my money for a GOOD Safety clip. Wouldn’t mess with a body grip without em now! LOL! Good luck on the rest of your season!

I have one of those yellow safety clips. I figured out what was wrong with it. It needed that string cut off and I started using it more often.
