In the water based dips? Was wondering if they can be dipped coiled up in a small bundle. I’ve been going through and reworking and rebuilding beaver snares.
I have, just as you said, coiled up in a bundle. Works good….seems to speed them up a little as well in my experience
I think I’ll give it a try this year.
Just be sure to work the lock a few times when you go to set them, the dip seems to form a little bump wherever the lock is when they dry which causes it to bind a little, moving it back and forth a few times smooths it out and they work great. I just close my loop down really small when I dip them so if I forget to “smooth the bump” it is far enough down the cable to not be a problem. I think you will be pleased with the results.
