Are those aluminum? I had a pair of those but lost them in the deep water.
No those are steel. I was thinking about trying to make some aluminum that lock. It’s a little more complicated with aluminum if you want them to be as tuff as the steel ones.
I still have to put a couple more things on those and clean them up.

Those are probably bigger than anything you will get from the supply houses
I have a set I got from coon creek outdoors that I use that looks just like yours, but the handle part is just a tad short. My hands tend to bump together sometimes, and I hit the release before i mean to at times. I think if they were a bit longer where you grip them at, they would work perfect! I guess I need to weld an extension to them.
