Boy, I remember when there were two or three pages of the small adds in the back. They’re down to about a third of a page now. Times have changed in many ways.
I remember that as well
I remember the old adds, and little paper back supply catalogues that came in late Summer each year from all the different Supply Houses! Often times, you could smell the fox lure on the pages! I have wondered if they didn’t sprinkle a little red fox urine on the stacks of the catalogues before mailing them out. Seems like everything has changed, and the best a guy can do is hold on to the good, and let go of the bad! On the positive side of things, we are all still here, doing what we love, and I for one will gladly take the blessings as long as they keep coming my way! I hope the rest of you guys are blessed with many more years of good health, a strong spirit, and crisp foggy mornings that turn in to warm sunny days! …And a bottle or two of Old stinky lure from the good ol’ days to get a sniff of now and then!
