Be sore in the morning!

Decided to go down to the creek today and just poke around for a while. Everything was going good until I started back to the truck, then " whamo! " Both feet flew straight in the air, and I warped the creek bed hard! I managed to keep my head elevated so I wouldn’t hit it, but man, My elbows and forearms took the hit!
Got to my feet, and started back toward the truck, and made it about 50 yards, and did it again! I think I have had my fill of these slicker than ice limestone creek beds we have around here for a while! …Bet I will have multi colored elbows and arms for a few days!

Ares is a special kinda slick right know too. Funny just how slick a rough ol limestone can get. I hope you don’t get too sore!

Careful there now, antique parts are hard to find.

Antique parts “ARE” hard to come by, that’s true! That’s why I’m going for the replica parts! …That reminds me of the time a preacher I know got up in the pulpit, and announced he was going to get a knee replacement, and wouldn’t be able to preach the next Sunday.
He told every one he was like an old worn out car, and was going in the shop to get some new reproductive parts put on! He meant to say after market replica parts! LOL!
