Bob whites and whip-or-wills

I have heard Bob white quail, and Whip-or-wills both over the last few days and nights. Hope that means a come back is in motion for them both! Has anyone heard many of either in different parts of the State where you live lately?

Zero of both here. I heard one or two whippoorwills in Cumberland County during turkey season,

Zero quail been years since I heard one
Whipper Will yes big woods behind our house we

I never hear a grouse drumming either. Used to hear that a lot.

Whiporwills no,quail once in awhile

Not in awhile on either one

I have heard both more this year. Been seeing several quail around here too.

About the same amount of wip or wills but I’ve seen and heard more quail then in last few years.
I saw a few last year too. Drought prolly helping them.
Ain’t heard eny grouse in about 10 years even in a few places you was just as likely to hear a grouse then a turkey gobble. I did find a little grouse sign last winter but never flushed eny.
