Had something get in a small pen where we had some young chickens. They are about half grown. Went out to check on them yesterday morning and had 2 dead with head and necks eaten. Couldn’t find any tracks because of a storm the night before but found a small crawl under. Figured a small coon so I set 3 DP’s and had this surprise waiting for me.
Going to reset tonight and see if anything else shows up.
Had the same problem and caught a skunk raccoon and 2 possums
Coons usually chew the head off the first night in my experience.
I had a neighbor last year catch seven killing his chickens.
I guess he was the lone offender. Reset last night and no takers this morning.
Had one in the yard a few months back grubbing late afternoon which I thought was odd

Every time a breeze blow towards the house that thing plain stank
I’d laugh my wife not so funny
