Another wildlife change I’ve seen is that crows are not as skittish as they used to be. I guess everyone’s not shooting at them all the time like they used to.

I’ve noticed this as well. Growing up on the farm, I was told to shoot every crow I saw because they would pull up newly sprouted corn and eat the kernel. They were very skittish back then. Now they don’t pay people any mind. Bet a scare crow wouldn’t even work anymore.

Never did understand the need for a crow season ?
I’m seeing a lot of pigeons my way
Barns and Silos seemed to be full
And there nasty
I killed over 40 for a neighbor couple yrs ago
But they educate quickly
You are right about that! One day when I was working at the college, I watched a crow bluff a young lady from getting in her car! Someone had thrown a hamburger sack out that had some food in it near her driver’s side door, and the crow didn’t intend to lose it! I had never seen that happen before!
