Thats about right dry for months and months soon as I load the boat with traps the bottom falls out, big rain next week too, just in time for the mud to start growing.

Yes soon as I start thinking about trapping here comes a 2 inch rain.
I’m going to wait until gun season goes out
I scouted a couple private lakes this morning
Surprisingly the water was clear but way up
I found several rat runs but gonna wait a couple days for the water to go down
I had a couple buckets out side and there 1/2 full
One thing that I got a kick out of is the amount
Of fish up close to the bank
Had several make a huge swirl as I got close
I hear you Colt it;s season so bring on the rain lol
I couldn’t stand it any more. Ended up putting out 10 coyote sets here on the farm. Didn’t see much sign just went with locations that have been good before.

I’ve always had trouble catching coyotes, more than the usual trouble, right after deer season.

Always tough on coyotes right after deer season.I think their a little parinoid after all that activity in the woods plus lotta gut piles and lost deer to eat.
