Sale just a week away. I did my last two beaver and a mink today and put a fan on them.
Putting up a couple badly chewed beaver tonight. That’ll about do it for me
I put up my last 6 beavers and 2 otter today before work.
Nice looking fur Colt.
Ill tell you what started using a regular old spring type staple gun with t50s for beaver boarding and it’s so much less work obviously putting them on but even taking them off I’ll never go back to nails.
If you guys ain’t got you a tumbler your missing out.

Now go to an air powered stapler with 1 1/4 staples set to only sink in 1/4 inch or so and putting up beaver is fun.
I wrote down the beaver sizes and I’m going to zip tie my sizes together. ( it won’t take long). If graders want to except out any in the bundle at least they’ll be pre sized.
Colt, they make an electric T50 stapler that’s easier to use. I used to get about 200 beaver out of one. Might find them on sale somewhere or at flea market.
Yeah I been thanking about one. I have an air stapler I use for bee frames but I was afraid theyed be to aggravating to pull even with not sinking them. But I guess you’d know better then me.
I been using 9/16 t50s and there doin good. I actually am starting to enjoy putting up a beaver like you said.
I can show you my outfit. It’s a Metabo stapler with a spacer that stops the staples from going all the way in. They stick up high enough to be easily grabbed and pulled with needle nose pliers. Handling beaver is much easier if you’re set up good. I used the electric staplers for years but now I’ve settled on this and I’m very happy with it. Just wish I could get my shaving edge back on my knife.
About ever once a season i have to rework my edge on my scraping knife I use file and a steel

Sounds like you guys would benefit from a trade of services.
I’ve been stapling for years and love it. Previously, I didn’t have the room where I worked for the air compressor and hose and all, but with the new shop I’m going to get it all set up. I have a beaver table on wheels, air compressor and an air stapler. I purposely left a couple beaver in the freezer to put up later so I can work out the staple size and some sort of gauge to keep the staples from burying to deep.
