I’m trying to get knives sharpened, freezer organized, freezer bags and bacon ends and pieces lined up. Fixed my deer hanging gambrel spot too. It seems I’m ill prepared a lot of time and they’re giving warm weather next weekend. Hope this isn’t a sure way to see nothing, it’s happened before……
BTW, we ate the last pack of tenderloin we’d lost last night and Stacey’s Alpa Gal didn’t flare up. There might be something in store bought meat that magnifies it.
A friend of Bonnie’s has it and she can eat deer meat in moderation as well
This week has been terrible as far as deer movement, maybe it will cool off.
Yes, going to be too warm for my liking. Man can be patient and wait for later, surely there will be a few frost days before Thanksgiving.

I have one of the ones that Cabela’s sells that you drop your piece of steak in and turn the handle and it feeds it through, it works really good, mine also came with a separate set of cutter heads that allows you to cut jerky strips.
