Several people agree we need to change our auction time. Seems like people come and buy their supplies, eat lunch and leave without helping us out by taking part. Last few times the ones that brought all the auction items were also the ones actively bidding. Anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe a silent auction option with an early deadline. So people can participate without being there all day.

I usually leave about half way thru the auction cause of my drive but I’m going to try and stay longer next time, thinking on the drive home I should have stayed longer cause Glenco rreally wasn’t that long of a drive. Anything under 4 hrs isn’t that bad of a drive for me
If you had a nice item that you could promote prior and that you auction last. I understand that it is based on members donations that are brought that day but maybe the one’s donating could let people know prior what they are donating. Draw for the gun after the auction or maybe give everyone a ticket at the door and give a door prize after the auction that you have to be present to win.
When the auction starts winding down,folks want to start bunching items togather for one low price.everybody is getting tired and ready to go home.if we could start a little earlier,might help
