Still tuning a few words so it’ll sound better.
I have tried several different formulations over the years but keep coming back to this one. It just plain has proven to me it works. Last year I mixed up two totally new ones from Dirk Millers book and both worked for beaver but not versatile on the cats like the original without the food/ curiosity ingredients. Dirk trapped in Wyoming and I plan on making up his two to take with me on the ranch BUT I’ll have my old original for the cats. I also have a good batch of cat gland brewing for that trip. I’m not privy to the big nationally known lure makers methods much but I figure it’s hard to go wrong with small batch lures if you aren’t interested in thinning or getting by as cheap as possible. I’d much rather have my friends come up to me and say they caught with them. I sold a four ounce bottle at Glencoe to a man and he told me he caught his first ever bobcat on it. That’s additional payment to me.
