If I wanted to give my son an acre or so do you just flag it off and then what? Does a lawyer have to be involved or can you do it yourself legally in Kentucky? He’s wanting to build or put a double wide in and has to own the land.

Surveyed first to create a deed description
Then to an Attorney to sign by both parties and then filed at the court house
But a Survey must be performed
Some Counties have restrictions on how much land can be used to build on
The Survey Guy should know

This right here! Thumb is right! Survey description, and Filing at the Courthouse is Key ! If it’s not recorded at the Courthouse, it never happened in the eyes of the Law!
