Increase in otter and bobcat limit

KDFWR, Laura and Ben, requested an increase in the otter limit to 15 and bobcats to ten at the meeting yesterday. It passed forward as an action item next meeting, so good news. The hunting limit is to remain at three so this is a benefit to trappers and fur hunters who will utilize and not waste the resource. Everyone needs to let their commissioner hear their support of this bag limit increase.

Where can I find my commissioner email or phone number? I live in Nelson county.

Disregard my question I found the commissioners by district on the KY Fish and Wildlife website.
It is Greg Cecil for district 4 if anyone else lives in the same district.

I’d let them know there’s plenty of both and trappers utilize the pelts while helping fishermen and hunters. The anti that wrote in was against any increase at all and went into how torturous we were with our barbaric tools.

Otter limit would increase to ten in zone two, from six. We have a good otter population in zone two now. I was thinking that most of my creeks have noticeably less fish and crawdads now and I don’t think it’s mine runoff.
