Mink population

I’d like to try and catch a few mink this year but to be honest haven’t ever caught one or seen any sign.

I’m in northeastern Ky and have a large creek that runs through most of the farms I trap.

So do mink not leave a lot of sign? Or is there just not a large population in eastern Ky?

I don’t see near the mink sign that I did when we still had rats. I think they are hunting and staying in more upland habitat than they used to. Late in the season they travel and leave more sign.
