Montana No 2 dogless square jaw

Anyone have any and if you like this trap ?

In the past I’ve liked it but had a few pull outs
Chain attaches from the end of trap instead of middle wondering if that’s an issue
seems the years go by quick had them a while

So I’m replacing the springs

Have a couple that the pan sits up more than I like
I’ve tried to correct but not doing what I should
To get it more level

For conversation sake any thoughts

I have some montgomery’s in #2 and #3 But I have replaced the springs on the lot.I bought some of the Montana #2 round jaws with the dog.They have PIT pan’s on them.They are good traps but were extremly hard for me to set but they do hold good

Different than other traps

They have served me well over the years
