Would you guys like to see maybe a Savage Varmint rifle this year for our fall meet? What caliber? Savage has some nice little rifles with the Accutrigger.

A .243 is very good for everything from ground hogs to deer. Last time I checked though, there seemed to be more military calibers like .223/ 5.56 and .308 available in places like Cabelas , and Dunhams. I’m sure anything in standard calibers will sell though.
As long as we are having the conversation how about a good 22 to keep in the truck. For dispatch an so.

Stacey and my daughter have taken several deer with their .243’s. Stacey has that same scope on hers and it’s a clear scope. It’s s good little outfit.
