Would you guys like to see maybe a Savage Varmint rifle this year for our fall meet? What caliber? Savage has some nice little rifles with the Accutrigger.
anything in a popular caliber,223,22-250,243
A .243 is very good for everything from ground hogs to deer. Last time I checked though, there seemed to be more military calibers like .223/ 5.56 and .308 available in places like Cabelas , and Dunhams. I’m sure anything in standard calibers will sell though.
As long as we are having the conversation how about a good 22 to keep in the truck. For dispatch an so.
Colt
We will also have a .22 pistol for a second drawing after the rifle.
Something “pelt friendly”. I would love a .204 or 22-250
A 204 or 250 eathier would be good.
Colt
I like this one.
That is a good looking rifle.
yes,That looks good
We’ll have this rifle in .243 for the fall meet. I’d say if you’d rather have it in another caliber if you win the trade ought to be close.

Stacey and my daughter have taken several deer with their .243’s. Stacey has that same scope on hers and it’s a clear scope. It’s s good little outfit.
Zach took several with a 243 until he became a duck hunter. Now its ALL about ducks
Those shoot very well.
