Some Old Traps I’ve Picked Up

Finally getting around to cleaning up a few I’ve picked up over the winter.

R.C. Best body grip and a True Value. I’ve got a better True Value but I just like’em.

A Prott trap and a Victor no. 14. I’ve got several 14’s but this thing is flawless! Brand new condition.

You will be competing with the guy in Ohio before too long!

Victor Louisiana Special

And finally my Holy Grail (besides bear traps) a Victor No 10 rabbit trap! Pretty pumped about this one. Made by Victor but marketed only in Australia. I’ve looked at hundreds of these and this is the cleanest one with the absolute best pan I’ve ever seen. Most of the time the pans are beat up, rusted or so worn you can’t hardly read them.

Don’t think I’ll ever compete with Tom Parr but I sure would like to meet him and look at his museum. It’s on my bucket list!

I wish I had started as a kid. I remember when you could order #6 Newhouses. They were a fortune then but not near what they’re worth now. Nice collection you’ve got going.
