Spring meet has been moved

Due to the park not being repaired yet and having to set something definitive in the upcoming meet letter everyone will receive we have decided to move the meet to the Garrard County Extension Office. It’s very easy to find and right on Hwy 27. I’ll include the address so everyone can start planning accordingly. There’s room for camping but no electrical hookups. We’re still having our Friday evening get together there as well.

TTT for everyone.

Hope it’s a great meet. Spending time with my mother and mother in-law this weekend.

Sir I have searched the site here in and found very little info. Myself and a freind plan on coming to the meet this Saturday and possibly taking membership.

I can’t find any info pertaining to the meet schedule, activities going on, scheduled times and so forth. Where there be any venders to purchase traps and so forth ? Sorry if I may have missed the info. I would appreciate any help. Sometimes I have a little trouble finding my way around in these forums. I did do a couple searches to no avail.
Thank you, James Fultz from Carter County Ky.

I sent a reply on Facebook. The spring meet is way more laid back with less supplies than say a fall meet. It’s mostly members fellowship and going over current Kentucky trapping, if any, issues. I think we have a small dealer coming but there won’t be a ton of supplies there like in the fall. We’re having demos on mink trapping, roots and herbs, coyote gland removal and use of M44’s ( illegal in Ky). We’d love to have you but certainly don’t want you to come and be disappointed in the turnout or supplies. Spring meets are always smaller than fall. The fall meet in Mayfield will be a good one.

Thanks to all Steve, Colt, Brian, Wesley and Mr. Leon for sharing your time and knowledge with us. It was very appreciated. Thanks to Stacy for getting “plan B” location and facilitating the behind-the-scenes details, like the kitty litter for the grease drippings. And to all that helped from Friday night cookout to after the meet cleanup, thanks and you’re much appreciated! And a special shoutout to Waylon, Johnny and the other neighbors of Steve and Chuck’s at the campground: I suspect Kenny Rodgers showed up Saturday night. Somehow, he made it in Steve’s truck.
