Tip to you guys that dip snares and traps

I’m constantly tinkering with cost cutting measures in this trapping deal, if you dip traps in any water based dips all you gotta do is use eny latex cheap paint to do so, cut it how ever youd like thickness wise but if you like a light color like sand or tan I have found the cheapest I’ve ever found it’s at Lowe’s it’s 15 bucks a gallon and some change it’s flat white and tintable but it can only be tinted so no dark colors they says it’s cause the can is too full to add enough to make it dark. I told the girl to pour some out she said she was not allowed!
Enyhow I got a sand color as I like them light. I was almost everything but I do like my snare paint light and I also dip some of my chains to protect them and in that case I don’t care what color it is.
Enyhow about enythang works on a rusted trap or chain but cable is different. I wash mine in fish liquid to remove surface oil and let them dry. The results with this paint was really good. So I wanted to share and also gonna show the mix label so if you guys wanted to go to Lowes and get you a gallon you could.

I cut mine about 1.5 gallons.of water to 1 gallon of paint. Turned out perfect.

Thinned down latex lasts as long for me as anything else does and it’s cheaper. I like alight tan or mud color to then stripe or spray a darker color on it a bit for the camo effect.

Thanks Colt

So thin latex paint with water instead of using thinner or spirits. Would be cheaper. I got a bunchnof traps to dip.
