They are knocking off the mb450 
There is a reason Duke traps are cheaper. MB450 are a much better trap. Not saying they won’t work but you get what you pay for.

Well I agree with you to a point and I’m not sure if it was my business that my traps would be so similar but having bought and used the mb 550 when it first came out as well as the duke 550 I have no problem with either the duke traps are very strong and stay that way a long time.
The duke 1.5 has been a good trap for a long time and the duke 330 magnum is an otter killing machine.
When your trying to accumulate a big string of traps and some will will stolen and or run over cheaper is always better.
The no bs 1.5s are one of the cheapest 1.5 coils on the market and there a tank

I’m running some new Rudy 330’s and really liking them.
Betcha those Rudy’s are stout
They are and the triggers are precision cut. No flop and consistent tension. Trigger wires I like a lot. They bend easily. And the safeties are good.

I wrote to the Rudy trap people in Canada asking about the swivel. It looks like a fishing swivel. He told me he was 300 lbs. and it’ll hold him up without failing.
The Duke 1.5 is their best trap overall, price versus what you get. They’re not as cheap as they used to be though. The 1.5 double jaw is a really good versatile trap.

Are the Rudy’s better than belisle’s?
There are things I like better. They are easier to set. Not because they’re weak but just seem to slide easier. I’ll put it this way, if I buy anymore bodygrips they’ll be Rudy’s and not Belisle.

You are about to talk me into selling some gear, and buying some of them!
I’m thinking of selling my MB 1216’s and replacing them with these. There are things I don’t like about them. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that……
