How did everyone like the format yesterday. Auction before lunch, lunch, quick business meetings and Q&A, draw for guns and wolf pelt. We casually did the fur lot numbers immediately after lunch. In the past when we had the auction last the crowd shrunk.

I liked it that way.
I know a lot of organizations hold all day demos and auction Saturday night. I wonder if most like the full Friday and half day Saturday like we’ve been doing or would rather have a full Saturday. I don’t mind saying. For some reason I was tired both days. It might have been the heat or my foot that had been carved on. Stacey doctored it when I got home.
I like the half day on Saturday, but I did receive a few comments on the short duration on Saturday.
We will think about that before next fall. We had a better crowd the first day. Maybe a more demo filled Saturday would be good.
With the long drive I liked the short Saturday but…I believe it’s prolly better for a long Saturday what if it was a half day Friday and all day saturday.i believe the auction time was a good move too.

I can see how that would be a popular move! 1/2 day Fridays would make it easy on folks that might be able to get off on a friday from work, and if you worked second shift the night before, ( Thursday night), it would give you time to get a good nights sleep before traveling a long distance on Friday morning, and not missing anything because it would start that afternoon!
We’ll do it any way to improve it. Maybe we can think it over and decide at the spring meet. Spring meets are always a day. BUT I’d like us to maybe have another one at LBL down at Golden Pond. Those are great bonding meets.
Everything went smooth this way the half day on Saturday is nice for those of us that have long drives but half day on Friday and full day on Saturday could work to.
Well it would give you time to travel on Friday and potentially allow more people a day off to be there for a full day.
