If any of you hear of chest waders on sale in the next few days let me know. I’m retiring my pile for good. Tired of getting feet wet. I’ve gone through four pair and I’m down to hip boots. Maybe I can catch 8-10 beaver to pay for them.

I’ve bought a lot of stuff from Rogers over the years, they are good folks to deal with and if you buy in case lots, you can get some real deals on shotgun shells from them at times.

I checked on some Tidewe’s on sale still 500
I bought Rogers 2 in 1 I think. Regularly 400 on sale for 199 postage paid.
They had only one pair of one color of my size so if anyone is looking……

Rogers sells a good wader. Frog toggs make them for them and then put their name on them, kind of like the old Montgomery Ward guns. I’ve had the toughman waders they have and they were nice. I wore them about 20 or 30 days duck hunting the first season I had them, 52 days the second season I had them, and about 20 or 30 days the third season I had them and they sprung a leak. I don’t mess with patching and all that because I’ve never had luck with it. But 3 seasons of wearing them more than the average guy in some nasty beaver swamps and getting in and out of a kayak was pretty good for waders I paid something like 200$ for. And they’re comfy. Mine had the zip out insulation

I’m more than happy if I get three seasons out of a pair. If I get tangled up in loose barbed wire that’s on me. I’ve ruined more that way than any other.
I bought a new pair last year wore them 4 times then slid down a bank and snagged them on a beaver chew and ripped the whole knee out.
