Woke up to the smell of soup beans

Started me a pot of my style of soup beans before I went to bed. My wife and kids won’t eat them with pigs feet in them but I like em. Poor folk got poor ways :grin:

I’d have no problem with the beans,but I found out years ago I don’t like prga feet.
But I can eat around um!

I like the ham hock or bacon, never tried them with pigs feet in them! One thing is for sure I love soup beans and cornbread.

I would love them but sadly I would be the only one,so I’ll settle for a ham hock in mine

Taste is great. Lots of little knuckle type bones.

I ve had pigs feet before pickled but that’s been
Yrs ago when my Dad had a grocery store
Came in a big glass jar

I’m a soup bean an hamhock person. I use to eat pickled pigs feet a long time ago.
