Anyone seeing very many fawns, poults, or baby anything’s yet?
I have not seen any young critters except rabbits. I have noticed a couple of times about 3 weeks back of does standing in the open in the middle of the day in grown up hay fields; so I suspected a little one nearby.
I remember someone posting a couple of fawn pictures a couple of weeks back, but was wondering if they are being seen all over yet. I haven’t seen any Turkey poults, and figure all the rain may have knocked them pretty hard! … What’s your observations?

Saw a fawn nursing on mama the other day.

Seen several fawns so far this week I have seen 6 hens with poults some the size of quail some the size of grouse and some about like killdeer. It racks my brain as to why as I’ve have always seen cool wet Junes like this kill off poults the only defence this year is that NO body has got to cut hay until last week and i wonder if it’s the fact that so many hens nests didn’t get mowed up that it has over through the cool wet mortality rate. It’s all I can figure

I’ve actually seen more fawns and poults around here this year than I’ve seen in a while.

A few fawns, lots of baby rabbits and zero turkey poults
Ive seen several fawns, but out of the 20 or so hens ive seen in the last 4 or 5 weeks only 2 have had poults.
Had 4 hens in my driveway yesterday
Not a single chick
Haven’t seen a single hatch in my area
And none on my cameras
Really disappointing
Fawns seen a bunch
Not sure how many made it with all the coyotes
Time will tell
