I have at least one demo lined up…. Going to need several more! I know it is a long way off still but you guys be thinking about any demos you want to see or one you want to do for the group. Just got word Dale Billingsley will be at our meet with his bait and lure and doing a couple of demos. You can see him on YouTube.

Dale has a lot of information on his videos that he puts out these days! I’m glad he is planning to join us!
I’ve seen Wesley’s tentative dealer and demo lineup. This will be a good meet. Hal and Dale doing demos on Friday.
I still have a couple demo slots available for Friday of the meet. I really want to fill those with UTK members…If you have one you want to do, just give me a shout

I placed an order today for some new utk teeshirts and hoodies if anyone needs to freshen up their utk wardrobe at the fall meet.I’ll probably get some more hats to sell as well.

What time does the meet run?
Demos start at 0900 Friday Sept. 29, doors will open before then, seven or eight. Saturday we’ll have demos and dealers up to the auction before lunch. Have some good demos and dealers this year. Every member will get a fall newsletter in the mail before the meet with directions, motels and meet schedule.
I appreciate it, I’ve got my wife talked in to us all coming down Saturday and getting a hotel that night and spending the day Sunday exploring around that country, she likes flea markets and peddlers malls, now I’ve just got to talk the boss in to giving me a weekend off. It’lol be about a 4 hour drive from me if you count in bathroom stops for the kids and whatnot. Didn’t want to miss an awful lot
If you drive down Saturday you’ll miss the meet. Unless you leave at 0400.

Friday will have more demos and one by Hal Sullivan and two by Dale Billingsley.
We might hold my daughter out of school and get there Friday, both of those guys I look up to a lot. I don’t think there is a book by Hal that I didn’t read when I started back in 08 and I’ve been watching a lot from Dale lately on YouTube.
Taulbee1 that would be a much better plan as you will miss everything if you travel out on Saturday. You may be able to get an educational day excused absence for your daughter by referencing the biological and environmental education portion of the meet. Obviously this depends on the age of your daughter, it probably isn’t applicable for a elementary age student but certainly is for a middle to high school aged student.

I took my son to see the first elk release. He was in grade school. I went by the office to let them know why he’d be absent and they started in a tiff about how I’d have to ask the principal. I told them they didn’t understand….I wasn’t asking if I could take him I was simply telling them why he wouldn’t be there that day. I did get an excuse to take them to Colorado for two weeks and Montana for one.

That needs to be the attitude of more Parents these days! The School System does not own your kids!

They did it to me ONCE
Then there afraid of “being under a microscope” caus they can’t call your kids enythang they want in Florida know.
It’s that Marxist mindset of the kids being responsibility of the state.
