Going to take a large label to put that name on the bottle…
Yes it makes great chilli and soup my wife requests about 50 pounds a year

Just get it by the gallon.Plenty of room on a gallon jar for label. great stuff!
I’ve got all but 2 otter put up and dry or drying.
Went through my coon today and graded and sorted them the way I want them to sell.
If was t still on the mend I thank I’d set 25 or 30 on the river and see what I could catch this week.
I’m afraid of the cold air in my face right know though.

Coltp, Seems like everyone has had some kind of virus/ cold/ coughing fits around here! Hope you and yours get healed up quick! I’m about to stop barking and hacking I think! Hope you get after them hard in the next few days!
Coons look good
Colt I’m stealing that idea of the clamp on the beaver boards, I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that rather than just leaning them together and hoping they stayed put.
It’s a good idea and courteous to the graders at our sale to presort sizes and grades. It helps speed up the grading. If everyone would do that the sale would fly. Last year I s measured and bundled all my beaver by size and put a zip tie through the eyes together. Beaver and coon are easy to size grade and the sorters can just move a pelt up or down if they want. A bad pelt will bring the whole bundle down. Have 20 good ones and a couple that don’t make the grade and those two will pull down the 20.
Yes I can tell you as somebody who has helped grade and sort it really speeds it up and you get more say about how you want it to sale.

Can we expect to see a booth setup at the Spring meet with a whole lot of bottles of this for sale?
Yes, a booth! It should happen. With as many beaver as you have already caught you should have a good supply on hand for the Spring Meet
It takes longer to age than the spring meet. Weez, the castors have been mighty puny so far. Those Feb. castors are a lot better.
I’ve had a few castors almost full then several pretty much flat.
That’s alright…let them age. Set up your booth when they are right, don’t rush it.
