Anybody coming down,up, or over the night before?
I could prolly rangle up a fish supper if y’all are, just let me know if y’all want to get together.
Colt
Morning Colt, I would be interested in a get together the night before, those are always a lot of fun. Do you know if there is somewhere to camp at the get together location?
To the best of my recollection there is no camping at hubble
According to the Logan Hubble Park Ky Facebook post: Camping is $25 per night. No tents are permitted. There is electric hookup for RVs and water, a bathroom with shower, fire rings, tie outs for horses, etc. Apparently, this is an equestrian campground as it lists 10 miles of wooded trails for riding as well. But there is mention in the replies that it is not restricted to only folks with horses. Contact Don Walls at 859-339-5893 for reservations and questions.
Colt, I think we are actually going to retire from painting at the end of this Month so, I’m thinking I may have more flexibility by then. So yeah, that sounds good to me! Let me know when time gets closer as to what I can do, or bring up to help out!
Well there ya go, I know theres a horse camp didn’t know you could stay over night.
You can find everything on the internet.
Colt
I’m doing a mink demo at the spring meet. Heard chuck might be doing an otter demo and I’m hitting Leon up for one if he feels like it Dwight has some lined up too.
Sounds good! Looking forward to it!
Colt, Unless I dreamed it, wasn’t there a place on the North East of Hwy 150 , not far from Cedar Creek Lake, as you go East out of Stanford that was Either a Scout Camp, or maybe some kind of Camping area ? It’s been years since I was up in that area, but I was thinking that we took the boys up there for a camping trip back years ago when I was helping out with the local Boy Scout Troop at the time. Seems like there was a Sporting Good Store there near it. Thats been a long time ago, so I may be wrong in my thinking.
If we are talking potluck, I can bring coleslaw.
Thanks for the info, I’ll have to give Mr. Walls a call
Mr. Rainwater, have you gotten anywhere obtaining the information on your friend’s secret otter set? I think it would be welcomed at spring meet in May, and we look forward to you demoing it for us.
Anyone else want to volunteer a demo for Dwight? I m doing one.
If nobody else I will to fill in if needed just let me know.
I’ll be there just don’t know if coming night before or morning of
Are all the spots filled for the meet
Getting there.
Just got off the phone with Don Walls, 859-339-5893, as there was a question about if there was electric hookup for RVs and campers. There is electric and water hookup, a bathroom with shower, fire rings and equestrian type accommodations like tie outs and corral panel stalls. Dogs are allowed but must be kept at the camp site and are not allowed to roam free at the park. Any messes must be cleaned up, i.e., trash, dog droppings, etc. He stressed that if you wanted to camp you must make reservations with him as they have horse riding campers throughout the season and to make sure openings are available. Thanks.
Thank you Dwight.
Thank You for the info, I’ll give him a call
